The Dermaglow Facial with Targeted LED Therapy

The Dermaglow Facial with Targeted LED Therapy at Doyle Skin is a bespoke treatment designed to refresh dull, congested or unsettled skin. Combining gentle exfoliation, tailored masks and targeted LED light, it helps to restore balance, support the skin’s natural processes and leave your complexion looking clearer, calmer and more radiant.

What Is the Dermaglow Facial?

Unlike traditional fillers, which are typically used to add volume or structure, skin boosters and polynucleotides focus on skin quality.

  • Skin boosters (such as Lumi Pro, Illuma Luma Eyes and Profhilo) are usually made from hyaluronic acid designed to attract and hold moisture within the skin, helping it look plumper, smoother and more radiant.

  • Polynucleotides (PN) (such as Vitaran) are fragments of nucleic acids that support the skin’s own renewal processes, helping to improve firmness, elasticity and overall vitality over time.

At Doyle Skin, these treatments are carefully selected and placed to support the look of healthy, refreshed skin on the face, neck and delicate eye area.

Key benefits:

  • Fresher, healthier-looking skin
  • Refined texture and a softer feel
  • A calmer appearance for skin prone to redness
  • A more balanced look in areas of mild congestion
  • A sense of deep relaxation and “reset” for mind and body

HOW THE TREATMENT WORKS

We begin with a short consultation to understand your skin, current routine and concerns. Your skin is assessed so we can choose products and LED settings that best support your goals.

A gentle double cleanse removes make-up, SPF and everyday build-up, leaving the skin clean and ready to absorb treatment products.

Depending on your skin, we select an appropriate exfoliating step – this could be a mild enzyme or acid exfoliator or a very gentle mechanical option. The aim is to lift away dead surface cells without compromising the skin’s barrier.

Targeted serums are applied to address your main concerns (such as brightness, hydration, clarity or soothing). This may be combined with a relaxing facial massage to encourage circulation and help your skin look and feel revitalised.

A treatment mask is chosen to complement your skin’s needs – calming, hydrating or clarifying. While your mask works, Targeted LED Therapy is applied to help reduce visible redness, support recovery and further enhance glow.

Your facial is completed with suitable moisturiser, eye care and protective SPF, so you leave with your skin comfortable and cared for.

WHO IS THIS FACIAL FOR?

The Dermaglow Facial with LED is ideal if you:

  • Feel your skin looks tired, slightly blotchy or out of balance

  • Experience occasional breakouts or congestion alongside areas of dryness

  • Prefer a facial that is relaxing but still clearly “does something”

  • Want minimal downtime and no obvious peeling

It’s often a good option between more intensive treatments (like microneedling or peels) or as a standalone facial for ongoing skin maintenance.

This facial may not be suitable during acute flare-ups of certain skin conditions or if you’re very light-sensitive; if that’s the case, we’ll suggest a more appropriate option.

Frequently Asked Questions

It can help improve the appearance of mild congestion and support the skin with LED and appropriate products. For more persistent or severe acne, a more targeted plan may be needed, which we can discuss at consultation.

No – LED should not be painful. You might feel gentle warmth and see coloured light, but the treatment is non-invasive and most people find it very relaxing.

Yes. Most clients feel comfortable returning to everyday activities immediately. You’re likely to look fresher and more rested rather than “just had a treatment”.

In some cases, Dermaglow can be combined with other treatments as part of a longer appointment, depending on your skin and the procedures involved. We’ll always plan the order and timing carefully to protect your skin barrier.
